Soundings™ magazine carried a story not too long ago about a young couple who went for a sail on Chesapeake Bay. They anchored off a small uninhabited island and dinghied ashore for a picnic with their two year old daughter in their inflatable dinghy.
As they dragged the boat onto the beach, an oyster shell puntured the boat. They had no means of repairing it and they were too far to swim back to the boat. They spent a very hard night on that island until they were found by a passing fisherman the next morning and rescued. This could never happen with Dinghy Dogs® since you always have a hard boat, even if you do get a puncture (extremely rare).
