Valves are made by Halkey Roberts, a major supplier to the inflatable boat industry. These valves are the same ones found on many of the major brands of inflatable boats and are made of the finest materials available. To inflate, the (yellow) centeral stem must be in the UP/CLOSED position.

Once you have selected the appropriate fitting, it will take a few minutes to fully inflate the tube. Then put on the cover and twist closed to prevent accidental deflation.

To deflate the bladder, remove the cover, push the stem in and twist 1/4 turn clockwise to keep it in the DOWN/OPEN position to allow for complete deflation.
